A glimpse of our interior design projects and handmade decorative pieces for your home
Home is where the heart is, we've been told. But what if my heart is somewhere I have never truly belonged? There is a natural yearning deep within us all, as humans, to feel part of a larger collective. A sense of belonging to a greater community, of connecting to others, who are similar to us, and who share our experiences. To be seen for who we are, to be understood, to know that we are not alone, and to find comfort in that knowledge. This idea is something we share, feel and seek to continuously implement in our brand name. ‘Kyoshk’, also known as 'chardak', is an archaic Bulgarian word – an architectural element commonly used in vernacular houses across the Balkans Region and beyond. Kyoshk stands then for that very place in a home, where the outdoor meets the intimacy of the interior, where the interaction frontline between human and nature is drawn, and where borders between individual and collective, between 'me' and 'you' dissolve, so that 'we' can truly connect.
